EXCITING TIMES AT AHS!!
AHS is in the middle of its best year ever, smashing Sales Records set back in 2008!! With the new 80,000 sq ft Facility we are running three shifts and are able to keep up with the tremendous demand of our customers! Great job to all of our awesome employees!!

New Location! Great news for AHS and our customers! We recently capitalized on the opportunity to purchase a local company with advanced fabrication capabilities. This offers us the advantage of bringing some formerly outsourced processes in house, with attendant cost savings and increased flexibility. Our new facility features 80,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space! We have chosen to move our showroom, as well as manufacturing, to the new location at 1086 Wayne Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201

January 2011 Update: The energy tax credit, providing up to a $1500 tax credit has presently expired as of 12/31/10. Industry working groups (Biomass Working Group, and manufactures of home building materials) are working to lobby for renewal.

- We would like to proudly announce that Alternate Heating has signed the EPA Phase Two partnership agreement. We are committed to the goal of developing cleaner hydronic heaters and distributing these units as soon as possible.

Coal Gun™ gets UL Mark
The Coal Gun™ is now available with the UL Mark!!! If you require a coal stoker boiler that is safety agency tested, the Coal Gun is your best choice! Underwriters Laboratories maintains rigorous safety standards and completed testing of the Coal Gun earlier this year. Ask your Tradesman, Dealer or factory sales rep for more information. For new orders requiring the UL Mark, the request must be made at the time of ordering. UL Listed boilers will bear a label similar to that seen below:

Tax Credit
Alternate Heating Systems now certifying the Wood Gun for the new Energy Tax Credit. New purchasers of the Wood Gun will receive, upon request, a manufacturer provided certificate of eligibility. Consult with a tax professional for details about applying for the credit when you file your taxes. See Also: Biomass Stove Qualifications.
